Mexico Tourist Card

About Mexico Tourist Card (FMM)

The Mexico Tourist Card (FMM)  is a travel document obligatory for tourists who want to enter Mexico.

In 2015 an online application form was implemented. Since then, applicants have been able to obtain the FMM tourist card by completing an electronic application form, submitting necessary documents, and covering a fee. The approved document is delivered in a PDF file to the traveler’s mailbox.

The Forma Migratoria Múltiple is a single entry tourist visa that allows travelers to visit Mexico once and stay up to 180 days. The maximum time needed for getting the approval is 72 hours, so the application form must be submitted at least three days before the trip.

Having a Mexico visa, you can enter the country by air or land. The application process is quick (including three steps) and intuitive. Most importantly, the entire process may be completed online by using any electronic device with a good internet connection.

Before visiting Mexico, please also check your passport validity. It cannot expire in less than 6 months from the date of arrival to the country. It is also the main requirement to obtain the Mexico tourist visa approval, so a copy of this document must be attached to the application form.
